I have been reading daily text ( 1999) and helps me through a difficult period of my life.
This verse from Proverbs 21:2 has burned me in the past when I believe in all “humility” that I am right. Thank the Lord that He sends the Holy Spirit to give me “second thoughts” (repentance) so that I can live under God’s grace instead of in my illusions and arrogance. This is the “truth” or reality that we get when we are under God’s judgment. (Daily Texts on Pearl Harbor day, Dec. 7, 2010.)
